My son is 17 months old and he loves this. I bought it with the idea it would be a car toy. He's not quite be able to undo every buckle on his own so we keep it as a bedtime toy where he can get help undoing the clasps. It feels sturdy enough to withstand my toddler but some of the flat clasps may be a bit weak for a more aggressive kid. I would still get it anyway, there are plenty of things to interact with on the toy even if a clasp breaks. Clasps, zipper, colored number flaps with sea creatures under.

This thing has been a lifesaver! My 18-month old loves buckles. She plays with the ones on her stroller, car seat, and booster seat. We recently flew to visit some family, and I ordered this as something for her to play with on the plane. She loves snapping the different kinds of buckles and likes to point out the eyes, nose, and mouth on the front. She also likes the peek-a-boo flaps on the back. We wouldn't have made the flight without this toy and this is our go-to plaything when Mom and Dad need a couple of minutes of peace. Highly recommended!!

My son (20 months) is obsessed with clipping the highchair straps but there are only 2 buckles so he gets frustrated quite fast when his fun ends so soon. Enter Bubbles! This was an Easter basket gift for him to take on his first plane ride. He adores it! No, he can't take the buckles apart but that's something he can work towards. Many of the low star reviews mention size, but personally I think this is perfectly made- it's easy to take on the go to the store, in the car, etc. We even got the buckle backpack from this company.

I was hesitant to purchase this item for $20 - it seemed like a lot to me, but my 19 month old twin boys love buckling things and we were going to be taking an airplane trip and I needed some distraction tactics. I bought one for each of them - they LOVE them. They were used on the plane for periods of distraction, but even now at home I will find them playing quietly with their buckle toys - they like them in their high chairs too. I'm guessing they'd enjoy them in their car seats on a road trip too. If your child has any interest in buckling/zipping, these are totally worth it! My 4 year old enjoys buckling them as well. I liked the square pillow rather than some of the others only because it seemed easier to mix and match buckles to reduce frustration.

I was hesitant to buy this b/c of the cost, but I could probably get rid of every single toy I own and just have this and my daughter would be happy. She carries this thing with her everywhere, and it keeps her occupied for an insane amount of time. She is 19 months old and obsessed with buckles, and she will just sit and do all the buckles, then run it over to me so I can unbuckle them, and then she'll start buckling them again (and that pattern will last for up to an hour straight of just buckling over and over again). I love that she finally has a toy that captures her attention and focus as much as tv does lol.

My son is almost 1 and one of his favorite things to chew on are straps and plastic buckles (e.g. car seat, changing table, etc.). He has not yet developed the skills for opening and closing buckles, but loves this toy and will happily sit holding it by one of the straps while he munches happily on a buckle. I can see this being very entertaining for him as he develops. He does also like the back of the toy where there are colored number flaps that can be pulled up to reveal a sea creature. He enjoys lifting them up to see the pictures.

I bought this for my 15 month son who is now fascinated with buckles. I love their are different styles of buckles. He hasn't learned to match the colors yet, but he recognizes the different types of buckles and matches them up. He gets so excited when he puts a set together! He hasn't quite mastered unbuckling yet - but when he finishes them all, he simply hands to me to unbuckle. This is GREAT for a long car ride!

We bought this for our 16 month old after she spent an extensive amount of time trying to snap the buckle on her bumbo. We got it for her for car rides and she loves playing with it. Things I like about it 1) It's not electronic. 2) It's a simple yet sophisticated toy. She loves to play with the buckles, but we can also teach her colors and numbers and animals (water-themed under the numbered flaps) and memory. 3) Relatively small, so we can put it in her diaper bag without issue. I really don't have anything negative to say. It has held up well. If it changes, i'll try to update.

I found this to be a quality product that my daughter enjoys for a decent price. Everything is stitched together solidly so I have no worries of straps tearing off or coming loose. The bright colors and different assortment of buckles keeps my daughter engaged. I would recommend this to anyone who's little one has shown an interest buckles or snaps or anything with hand and eye coordination involved at all really.

I bought this toy for my 2 yr old thinking he would be facinated by the buckles. At first the toy irritated him and made our car rides worse. I was bummed and tossed the toy to the side. About a month later he tried it again and LOVES IT. He matches all of the colors correctly and asks to do the buckles over and over. Happy mama over here! I love that the toy is soft and lightweight so I don't worry about it becoming a projectile on his little brother or even in a car accident.
